Question: Just got a guitar, where do i start!?

i wanna start to play this and i want to learn but i dont know ehere to start!. can some put me in the right direction!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm assuming you know the basics, like the frets and which ones are numbered what and the strings!. E a d g b E!. I would start with strenghtening your fingers by using the low E (thickest) strick and just using your pointer finger on the first fret and strumming, middle finger, second fret strum, just patterns like that to work your fingers!. Invest in a chord book with pictures, they don't cost much!. Practice easy chords!. Learn to read tabs so you can practice fairly easy scales and just start from there!. That's what I've done!. I've only been playing since October and I've already written about 15 of my own songs!. If you really want to learn and have a passion for it, you will catch on! if you want me to send you the easiest way to explain the first scale I learned, I'd be more than happy to!Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think it depends on how you learn too!. I teach myself right now!. so try looking up tabs, which are easy to read and understand, of your favorite songs!. but if u want to have more help, look for a good teacher that will help you learn and play guitar really good!.are u still in high school or at least in school!? u can sign up for a class that will help you!. or ask the music teacher at your school about guitar!. that will help!. its also easy to know somebody who knows how to play guitar too!. this way u will be comfortable being with them and learning from themWww@QuestionHome@Com

Go down to your local music store and ask if they offer private one-on-one lessons!.
