i totally feel you i have terrible stage fright!
when i get on stage i start to shake a lil bit but its quite normal(:
what i do to make my self stop shaking is i take a few deep breaths then i
just look above all the audience and i start to sing [i look above all of them so that i dont see them then somehow i forget they are even there(:] Www@QuestionHome@Com

Acting classes will help you in becoming more outgoing, but you want to a singer!. I say just bite the bullet and do the talent show!. I know it's hard and everyone gets stage fright (even famous singers)!. You gotta know how to fight through it!.

First, of course, you gotta practice your song!.

Don't go into the talent show thinking that you want to impress everybody, because that's not going to work!. I did this with guitar when I had to perform at my grad party and couldn't get through the first song, which was the song I wanted to impress people the most with!. I actually had to foil that song and move on to the next one!. You'll be setting yourself up to reach a very high goal!. Just go into the talent show with the "I'm gonna do fine" attitude!.

Before you go on, take a deep calming breath and do some positive self talk (ie!. "you can do this")!. Stare at the back wall of the auditorium when you perform, so you don't have to make eye contact with anyone!.

Once you're up there for a few seconds, you may not want to leave and start to feel comfortable up there!. That's what happened to me at my grad party performance: I got used to being up there and actually liked it!. You may like it too!.

Good luck!! :-)Www@QuestionHome@Com

i remember when i had stage fright it was my biggest fright until second grade i was trying out i was singing hillary duff [ this is what dream are made of] !. but it felt good to stand onstage !. i know i said to myself if u don't do it now then ur never gonna get a chance to show the school who u really r!. do both and have a good time doing it
