Question: Tips for strumming a ukulele!?
I'm learning to play the uke (played piano 9 years) and liking it, but I'm confused about strumming!.

I heard that you're supposed to strum down with your fingernails and up with the "meat" part of your fingers, but when I do it, the down strums have a good plucky sound to them, but the up strums sound mellow and muffled!.

Is it because my fingertips are still too soft from not playing much, or am I doing it wrong!?

Thanks for the help :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
