i am 13 year old boy, no acting experience except school plays and i live in seattle and want to get into acting, where do i beginWww@QuestionHome@Com

If you wanna act in either plays or Television, you need to start somewhere!. You WILL need support from at least one of your parents!.

Take some classes, do not get duped, there's a lot of scams out there!. Get a headshot, which is a picture, your drama teacher at school can tell you about, then send that along with your resume to community theatres, agents and casting directors around your city!.

You will end up doing commercials and small plays, but if everyone has to do them!. I'm 22 and wish I started as early as you, the best time to start acting is when your young because you don't have a day job!.

Aspire to be great, watch good actors in good movies and plays!. Learn from them!.

If you end up loving it, and you end up actually working, you are very lucky man, you live in america, and you can legally work in Hollywood!. But that's still a long time from now!. Focus on being a good actor, and seeing if you love it!. Do not pursue it if you do not LOVE it!.

Look into your yellow pages see if you can find any advertising agency that does commercials!. Thats your best bet also make sure you have a picture with a type of resume showing your extra curricular activities!. I would recommend a drama club sign up as soon as you get into high school too!. also colleges sometimes do type b movies that are shown in film festivals!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
