Fender Jaguar for metal?

Question: Fender Jaguar for metal!?

i guess i'm just lookin for a pat on the back, but does anyone besides me think its awesome/funny/original that during my days as a metalcore player, my main guitar was a fender jaguar (with a duncan sh-6 distortion pickup in the bridge and a fender dragster pickup in the neck)!? i think its awesome!. i also used a telecaster with an invader!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Any guitar can play metal and it is the guitar player that decides that!. That Jaquar is worth a few dollars today!. What year is it !?!?

With a Duncan pickup, the sound should have been quite explosive and with some bite to it!.
