If you are just starting to learn cello, it is best if you rent a cello first, or just buy an inexpensive one!. You won't need to worry about the quality of your cello until after you have learned all the basic techniques (holding a bow, finger positions, etc!.)!. Then after you've learned the basics, and would like to continue to dedicate yourself to learning cello, you can upgrade to a better instrument!.
