Question: Question for expirienced guitar players!?
When transitioning from one chord to the next, i have issues with picking up the pace and transitioning quiker!. In this song i recently started playing, i have to be on the 5th fret on the B string and 3rd fret on the A string , and then switch down to the 3rd on the 2nd stringn and 4th fret on the A string!. I Can't seem to do this quick enough so how can i pik up the spee!? It is kind of hard switching so fast, are there any ways to do this quickly!? I know it takes practice and lots of time, but i am still having trouble!. Thx so much!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Practice changing from one chord to the next SLOWLY!. Watch what your fingers do!.

If you have a metronome and can change from one chord to the next a little bit faster than you could before, start at a slow speed then increase the one number at a time until you reach the speed that the song is played at!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well first of all go slow enough so that your going at the same pace and your not going to fast that you have to stop for tive minuets just to try and get the new chord, take it nice and slow, and then an exercise thatll really help is if you were sitting down play a chord drop your hand down to your lap pikc it back up and play the next chord and repeat the process it helps

"Practice and lots of time"!. You just said it!. One day you'll remember having trouble transitioning and question hoow it was so difficult!. Keep trying!. Go a little slower to train you muscles and nerves!. Get it right then pick up speed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
