Question: PLEASE help my high notes!!!?
I'm taking voice lessons so I know how to sing properly, however when I try to sing high (primarily this one note) I can HIT the note, but it sounds like CRAP!.
Can you give me any tips on how to hit it NICELY!?
I never actually get the note out during my lessons because I hate how ugly it sounds!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The piece you are trying to perform may be keyed in a slightly higher key than is comfortable for you!. Try this!. Sing the whole line that contains the note!. Right before you have to hit the note, take a slight breath!. Having the extra breath can help you soar through the note, without sounding like a banshee giving birth!. Breathing is the key! Try breathing exercises every day!. Breath from your stomach, not your chest and hold it, then let it out slowly, forming the word "oooh"!. Keep doing it and changing the note from ooh to aah, then laa, maa, faa, so, etc!. Another thing that always helped me was to imagine where the high note is taking me!. Is it the end of a phrase or in the middle!? Focus on what it should sound like and practice this over and over!. Finally, if it's just in a bad key for your range, see if you can find the sheet music in a slightly lower key!. If you're trying for soprano, you may want to think about an alto voicing!. Good luck and hang in there!. It does get easier with practice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Listen!.!.!. (or read!.!.!. whatever) if you're under the age of 16!.!.!. your voice probably stills changing, which is possibly the reason why you're failing in your falsettos!.!.!. but I'm taking singing lessons also, and I learned that the more you open your mouth, the higher it will sound!.!.!. that's the only thing I can tell you!.!.!. my voice also sounds horrible when I try to do falsettos that's why I'm going to rock as a guitarist xD
no!.!.!. but seriously!.!.!. one day I'll become the most famous singer-guitarist- songwriter and then everybody who laughed at me like is they could sing better will regret when I don't let them enter my concerts :P

PS!. I think practicing with vocalizations could help you!.!.!. just don't force your voice too much or you'll be hurting it!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
