Question: How can I get my music heard!?

I am 14 years old, and I am a really good singer!. I am learning how to play the guitar, but other than that, I don't play any instruments!. I write some of my own songs, too!. How can I get my music heard!? I looked up some websites, but all of them require that you pay a lot of money, and I'm not rich!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Another option is to join a band!. This will allow you to work with others who, like yourself, are interested in being heard!. Check your local Craigslist, and also many music stores, music lesson businesses and music store websites allow people to post looking for members!. It is not uncommon for middle school and high school aged bands to be looking for a frontman(woman)!.

Once you have an established song (set) list you can start to play at local open mic nights and coffee shops, etc!.

also, videos on Youtube are a great source to point people to, to show that you have talent!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

if you have a camera, record yourself and post it on youtube!.
but make sure to put several videos of you singing/playing guitar of different songs!. so that people can tell if you're really good!. and maybe if the people on youtube like ur singing, they will tell their friends to watch!. and if you're really good like you said you were, the word will spread!. and maybe you can get a record deal!.
