HI ZG!. You go, Girl!!! I play oboe too!. I love the sound of it!. Have you ever heard Ravel's Bolero!?!?!? The oboe in that piece is absolutely awesome!.!.!.Awesome!! My favorite note to play is G#!. Can't tell you why, but I like the fingering and just the way it sounds!. You don't say what your favorite note is!. Do you have one, too!? I used to play!. It's really a weird story though!. I went to ask my middle school teacher to teach me sax and then she hands me an oboe!. At the time I kinda just stared at her and asked her what it was!. She said she recently picked it up from a sale and wanted me to play it!. I said okay and took the summer to teach myself!. I didn't realize I could teach myself an instrument!. But after eighth grade, I had to go back to bass clarinet for marching band!. So then I finally learned sax btw!. I was so into learning a double reed that I got really excited when I found out my director a bassoon!. So me and my bff started to learn bassoon together and I realized I liked it better than oboe because I had a tendency to like lower pitched instruments, ie bass clarinet, bassoon, tenor sax, and cello!. I didn't really have a favorite note, I kind of like it as a whole!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
