Boss CS-3 Compressor/Sustainer Pedal!. I had one when i played electric, pretty bad ***!. I'd try one out in a music store before you buy it though, just to make sure it's what your looking for!. READ the instructions if you get it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'd say, just improve your technique!. Put a little more thumb into it!. It's possible to pinch without a pick!. If you can do that, it will make your "picked" pinches that much better!.
also, experiment with using feedback to increase your sustain!. That's how it's really done!. Don't rely on a pedal to do what you can do with your own hands!. Stand at different angles to your amp, maybe touch the guitar to the cabinet!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Try a nicer guitar!.!.!. or get a rack system!. Thats the best you can get!. But if you are low on cash, get a boss CS-3, its a sustain pedal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
