Question: Are there any communities of Opera fans online!?

I'm a fan of Opera!. There is a small company in my town and I go to all their shows (only about 3 a year) but I have difficulty finding people with a similar interest!. I'm fairly young and I've been into Opera for about 4 or 5 years now but I really want to expand my horizons beyond what I know!. Are there any communities of Opera fans online where I could learn more about Opera and discuss my favorite Composers and Operas!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, there are lots of them on Yahoo Groups alone! Among them are Parlour of Opera Lovers, parlouroflibertines, coloratura, vissidarte, Opera_World, OperaCenterStage, operastudy, and lots of others!. Yahoo also has lots of groups dedicated to various singers and composers!. You can find many through the Yahoo Groups search engine!. also, from the City University of New York, there's a group called OPERA-L; more info on that is at
