Question: My guitar is in perfect intonation and difficult to tune!. What's wrong!?

Did you put new string on first before verifying the intonation and if YES, then the problem is not in the neck for sure!.

I suspect that your pickups are too close to the strings!.!.!.!.!.WAY to close!.!? Am I mistaken !?

And you probably have !.009 or !.008 which makes the pull much easier on Gibson pickups , just enough to throw the pitch off slightly!.
The magnets are power enuf to draw the strings closer to the poles which will prevent perfect tuning!.

The funny part of all this is that, when you lower the pickups slightly, and you try the intonation, it falls in place automatically!.

I don't see anything else wrong and it has nothing to do with truss rod adjustment either!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

hmm!.!.!.!.gears slipping!?!.!.!.!.strings not strung correctly,letting them slip!?!.!.!.!.if your neck is good 'n' straight,not curved or twisted, look to a string problem of some sort, not likely all gears would go out at once(if you're saying difficult to tune ''all" strings)Www@QuestionHome@Com
