Cleo Laine and Maureen McGovern together in concert in at the 1890 Opera House in Galveston a few years ago!. Two great voices, each doing about an hour solo and then duets for another hour!. Absolutely incredible!

About thirty years ago I saw a college production of SCAPINO, by Larry Gelbart, at a college drama competition!. The entire auditorium was used, with a circuslike atmosphere--one of the most memorable performances by a professional or amateur company I've ever seen!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best, I would say Radiohead!. The things those guys do live is just mind blowing!. They make the show as impressive as the albums, different but as impressive, and that's really hard to do!.

Favorite, I got to see Elliott Smith do an acoustic show at the Roxy in Los Angeles on my, I think it was my 20th birthday!. It was a half industry people and half fans sort of a thing (which made for a really fun, but very pleasant and mellow atmosphere)!. It was very cool!. He has a great crowd rapport and he was so talented!. It was funny though, he even botched I think 2 songs (and my friends and I all suspected that he was pretty high which could easily make it pretty frustrating), but it didn't matter one bit!. He just cracked a joke and was completely successful in wiping the slate clean!. It's hard to explain, but there was just something special about the whole thing!. I hear that was kind of a thing with his acoustic shows that a lot of people would be left with!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
