Finding musicians?

Question: Finding musicians!?

I'm a guitar player and i want to start a band
however i need musicians that are 15 years old
and are dedicated and good with their instruments

umm well chances are that you wont find anybody who is dedicated to music that is 15!. and even if they are dedicated, chances are they arent very good!.

however, since you ask, good places to find musicians is usually not the internet!. usually you should find musicians where you are in a position to see their skill before you ask them to join the band (cause if you find someone and they are like "hey i can play" and you plan a band around that and then they come over to practice and they suck!. trust me!. its sucks having to kick them out), like a music shop!. an open mic!. something like that!. somewhere where you are in the upper hand!. usually a music shop will have a list of musicians that are looking for people along with what genre and contact info!.

also go to a lot of local shows!. make sure to stand right up front and just start talking to people!. Starting a band is all social engineering!. just get out there!. send up some flags!. carry a guitar with you everywhere!.

i dont suggest looking on the internet because you dont know what kind of people are on here!. also the internet is a big place so even if you find people they might live like canada!. soooooooo yeah!.

put an add in the paper or put up some flyers at the local guitar and music store and ask or just look around!.if you see someone jamming,just go up and introduce yourself and tell them what you have in mind!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
