Anything in that price range won't be very high quality - so you know!. Buying used is a really, really good idea!

At that price range, I know Behringer and Danelectro pedals retail for about that much!.

Something you should be aware of is that the Behringer pedals that I've used will overload if they're driven by very high output pickups!.

The Danelectro Fabtone is a pretty interesting sounding pedal!. Couple it with an EQ pedal and you can carve out some pretty decent sounds!.

Double or triple your spending range and you can start to buy Boss!. I strongly feel that Boss pedals are some of the best you can buy, if you want a pedal that won't break or fail, on stage or off!. They're built like tanks!.

I don't remember if the Nano Muff is priced around there, but that's a possibility too!. Fuzz pedals can be great for grunge!.

The Boss Metal Zone has the widest range of distortion capabilities in a small pedal that I've come across!. You can find them on Ebay for around $40-$50, new they're priced around $100!. I cannnot think of any good reason to buy a pedal new!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

overdrive and distortion, maybe some flanger or phaser for that nirvana sound!. if they count as grunge!. behringer pedals and boss pedal are pretty good for that stuff!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
