practice! lol
here are some warmups:

- Sing "do re mi fa so la ti do ti la so fa mi re do" in different keys

- Practice Vowels! make sure your mouth opens up and down and not side to side!. Tall vowels will make the piece sound better!. :]

- Practice pronunciation!. Don't put the emphasis on the wrong syllable and *USUALLY* you don't want to sing your R's and if you do, it's a soft r!.

- practice raising your soft pallet, this will make the sound come out of your mouth so it doesn't sound nasally!. Sing "ningee" and "ningah" you can feel your pallet rising and dropping when you sing them right!. remember when you sing "ningah" that you make your mouth tall when you sing the "ah"

- sing "oooo" and make sure your voice has a nice ring to it

-practice breathing from your diaphram!.!. when you inhale your stomach should look like it's expanding and when you exhale it should go back to normal!. don't raise your shoulders and chest when you inhale!.

that's all i can think of right now!. hoped it helped!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think voice lessons are your best bet but i realize that you don't want to take that!. So my next suggestion would be to just sing all the time!. I live 35 miles from my school so I find myself singing in the car EVERYDAY to songs!. You end up learning what's the best sound and type of music to sing!. If you want to be really bold, sing for an event!. I sang for one of our high school football games and it really made me want to do something like it again!. You eventually will be singing all the time and trying to improve yourself!. Just don't over do it though!. Keep your vocal chords healthy!Www@QuestionHome@Com

well u need to sing from your diaphram!!
thats very important!
also, sing like if u were talking
for instance first say the line u want to sing then sing it
ur voice shouldnt sound completely different while singing;;
also dont eat/drink cold food items right before singing it damages ur vocal chords;;
no more yelling!! :]
and hmm thats about all i can think of for now;;;good luck :]Www@QuestionHome@Com
