Piano chords rhythms?

Question: Piano chords rhythms!?

I've been playing classical piano for 10years now, and I am now wanting to move on, by learning how to play accompaniment piano with chords!. I know all my chords shapes and can do basic progressions, but what I'm confused on, is how to tell what rhythm you play the chords in!. Are there any guidelines you could give me!? also, any other chord-related tips would be of great use, if you have!.

Get recordings of tunes you like and listen!. Try to copy what they're doing!. Believe it or not, that's the best way I know of!.

If you're classically trained you'll get it quickly!. Don't "move on" from classical though; always develop that so you can work it into whatever new styles you learn!.
