When you change keys in a piece of music, it is always better to ascend rather than descend!. So, whether it is one step (D up to E) or four steps (G up to C) always ascend!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's a perfect way to modulate into a different key signature!. An easy method is to play the dominant seventh chord of the new key and then go into the new key!.

For example, if you wish to change from C to D, simply play an A7 before going into D!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hm, I would like to listen to the song!. I think that you should transpose it to several different keys and record it in each key!.
Then listen to the recording and pick the one that sounds best!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
