Question: Tonsillectomy in an adult singer!.!.!.Anyone with this experience!?
I am an elementary voice teacher, and am having my tonsils out this summer due to recurrent tonsilitis (thank you, my 800 students for sharing your germs!) Has anyone who is a vocalist had any personal experience with this surgery!? I'm curious what changes to expect, when I can plan on using my voice again, and what your experience was!. I have talked about this with my surgeon, but would like to hear your experiences too!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I read once that Don Henley from the Eagles dealt with constant tonsillitis because he feared having his tonsils removed would change his voice!. But then I read later in yrs that he DID finally have the surgery and had no adverse affects to his singing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
