Question: What are the right guitar strings for me!?
I'm pretty set on buying GHS brand strings, because I personally like the company!. I don't want Ernie Ball or whatever, just GHS!. So I'm basically looking for the right gauge!.

I usually play standard tuning, but I do use open tunings a lot!. Mainly Open A, Open E, and Open G!. Once in a while I'll use half step or whole step down!. My guitar is a replica of Jack White's, if it matters, Eastwood Airline 2P DLX!.

So, I play a lot of slide and bend notes!. Wouldn't I want lighter strings!? Like !.010 or !.009!? I'm just guessing!. I was thinking of the light Infinity Steel strings!. Would those be pretty good for me!? If not, can you make a suggestion!? Thank you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In general, especially acoustics but not so much as electrics like yours, the lighter the strings the less tonal quality you have!. I usually go mediums across the board but I am not into bending as much!. My recommendation to you is buy SEVERAL sets and see witch ones YOU prefer best!. It's more of an opinion than anything else!.

You can use the !.009 but not smaller!. Otherwise, you will have to do a truss rod adjustment on the neck!.
That guitar is set to handle down to !.009!. If you hear buzzing, then you might want to do 1/4 counter-clockwise adjustment on the truss rod!. Not more than that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
