Find someone to run lines with and practice infront of a mirror!. The songs I recomend making a tape of them and singing in the shower! It helps you focus on only onething at a time so you learn the songs faster!.

For food my speech coach says to eat gummi bears before a performance to help keep your throat moist soyou don't choke on stage!. also try humming a comfortable pitch and making it vibrate through your whole body it helps with projection!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't drink milk before singing as it coats the throat and promotes mucus- which isn't helpful when you're trying to sing!. Ice cold water isn't good either as it can shock your vocal cords!.

As for the lines, try breaking it up into smaller sections to make it seem less daunting!. There are several things you can do to help you learn your lines!.
- Try writing out all your lines (either by hand or on a computer), as well as all the lines before and after your lines, which are also known as "cue lines" [at least the entire sentence before and four words after]
- Record all your lines (and cue lines) and listen to them!. When you have your lines memorized, record (or get a friend to record) all the other lines in the scene- leaving blank time for your lines!.
- Work with a partner, or friend, and run your lines with them!. They will be able to tell you if you miss anything, and you'll also get to feed off somebody else's energy (as well as not looking like you're just talking to yourself)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ahh The eating thing!. My Favorite question!.
Eliminate raw dairy (Example: Yogurt, Cheese, glass of milk) before your show!. Dairy coats your throat with whatever it is and makes it difficult to hit certian notes!. also don't forget to drink some water or gatorade!. A Dry throat and stage nerves do not mix!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

don't play with your hair
