Question: Signing with a talent (acting) agent!?
Forewarning: Bit of a long complex question!.

I have 5 talent agents picked out that I would like to try to be signed with, so here are my millions of questions!. And just so we are clear, I have had a year and a half of ACTING classes (they didn't teach us about landing an agent!.)

1!. Do I call first and ask if they have any openings at the agency and then send my headshot and resume, or do I send my headshot and then give a follow up call!?

2!. If I do get an interview, what should I wear!? including colors, and actual types of clothing!.

3!. What type of monologue should I have prepared!?

4!. What should I expect in the interview!?

This one is for anybody that knows what is marketable!. How marketable would you say my "look" is!?
I'm 16 5'2" 115lbs light skin dark brown hair and ridiculously green eyes!.

also, should I get my tattoo removed!?

And any more facts you want to throw in there will be super appreciated!.
10 points to whomever is the most thorough and helpful!Www@QuestionHome@Com

My daughter is signed with an agent so I know all about this!. I think that you should send your headshot and resume first so that you make them want you, instead of you wanting them!. You should look nice but simple at an interview!. Jeans or white jeans and a t-shirt or tank top of a color that suits you are appropriate to wear!. Usually, they give you a monologue to "cold-read" at an audition!.!.!. so I wouldn't worry about that!. If you insist, though, it should be short but should show off your personality!. No offense, but you sound short for your age, which is a good thing in the acting world!. If you look young for your age, directors will be more likely to cast you because if they can get an older kid to play a younger part, they will have an easier time directing this kid because of their maturity level!. Lastly, if your tattoo is somewhere that shows, I would get rid of it if you don't have to go to too much trouble to do it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I hope you dont get too carried away because I had a friend and she thought she was gonna be fdamous cuz she was in an agency but then NO studio excepted her!. THe chances of you being on TV in a major production or something is one in a million!. trust me I called agencies and they told me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
