I read some things and heard that they don't sound like an acoustic guitar when unplugged is it true!? This is a guitar I am interested in http://www!.fender!.com/products//search!.p!.!.!.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Some electric-acoustic guitars sound great unplugged, others just sound muffled and tinny and weird!. If you can go someplace and actually try out the guitar you're interested in that would probably be best practice!. (That applies to any guitar, by the way!. Minute differences from one individual instrument to the next can even make two guitars of the same model sound ever-so-slightly different!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

An electric-acoustic won't even sound close to any acoustic no matter what you spend!.

If you like acoustic electric !.!.!.!.!.check out the Takamine, Larrivee guitars which are very well made, inexpensive, and the sound and playability 100%!.

On the other hand, when it is plugged in, the sound is much fatter than a solid body guitar although, without the acousitc sound quality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
