well you could do chorse around the house with out her asking you and being really nice and stuff and she might say what do you want if you don't do this normanly cuz i don't and it works like a charm nd btw i think i might go off and do that thanks for giving me a way to kill my boredom ^!.^ i'm going to enjoy this XPWww@QuestionHome@Com

I would first find a guitar teacher that will be willing to talk to
your mother about the many "benefits" of learning music and
guitar in particular!. He/She may be able to convince her that
other young people learning guitar have been able to keep busy at home practicing as well as becoming Non-delinquent young people!.
In essence you are lobbying your mother just like big companies work your government representatives in Washington!.
You can also do your part by doing your chores without having her to remind you,

depends on your mom, mine made me take piano lessons, but let me off the hook when I started guitar, probabally because my cousins a guitar guru, and got the family discount so to say, lessons aint cheapWww@QuestionHome@Com
