Question: So does playing Guitar Hero 5 hours a day give me an easier chance at learning real electric guitar!?
Cuz I am a shredder!.!.!. A guitar hero!. A real one!. 5 hours a day! Maybe 2!. Or!.!.!. 1!.!.!. Uh!.!.!. I am the guitar hero!. Back to the question!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This is kind of like saying:

I play Halo for 5 hours a day, does this mean I know how to properly handle a real assault rifle!?

They are completely different things, being good at one doesn't effect how well you perform on the other (this works both ways)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No way! Some even think Guitar Hero makes you worse at guitar!.
Guitar Hero has 5 buttons and one string button thing that you push!.
A real guitar has about 22 frets on each string which is much more than guitar heros 5!.
On a real guitar you have to push down on the string on the right spot which is much harder than pushing a button!.
There are six strings on a guitar and you have to practice to pluck the right strings, unlike guitar hero where anyone can do it straight away!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, it won't!. One string, 5 frets!. That's nothing like real guitar!. You have to develope calluses, figure out the pattern in which to do solos, learn chords, learn how to bend, learn how to string a guitar!.!.!.It's a lot of stuff!. I used to love guitar hero, but then I felt depressed the day I Realized it wasn't getting me anywhere musically!. It inspired me to go out an take up real guitar!. You should do the same if you haven't!. Learn some bitchin' solos!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes i would say definitely!. but you will be limited to those guitar hero skills because on a real guitar there are frets and strings unlike gh controller which is pretty much 1 string since there are no other sets of buttons underneath!. so yes in the beginning stages of learning to play guitar it will help but after that it wnt matter!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Absolutely not!. Some good "real" guitar players can't play guitar hero well, you know!. Real guitars and guitar hero are really different!. Try playing the real electric guitar if you want to see for yourself how more difficult it is than shredding a toy guitar!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, not musically at all, the only thing it may improve is your coordination but thats about it!. If you want to learn guitar, pick one up and just start playing (even if you dont know what you're doing) for part of those 5 hours instead of GH!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not at all!.

Guitar hero will teach you nothing about scales, finger position, chords or anything else you need to play a guitar!.

Get a guitar, spend 5 hours a day on that and you will be very good very soon!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that if you spent 5 or so hours a day on a real guitar, you would go much further than on that video game!. I know there's small exceptions, but chicks would dig a real guitarist more than a guitar controller master!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It will contribute nothing to guitar skills!. a real guitar does not have buttons and levers!. It has strings you must specifically fret and strum!. 22 frets, 6 strings - much more complicated than 4 or 5 buttons!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

practice chords and strumming on a real guitar!. two hours a day is more than enough!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No Not Even Closely Related Cause Thats what I tried but it doesn't really help at all!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

some, because it tells how a guitar functions, liek with hammer ons and pull ofs, but otherwise!.!.!.!.nope!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
