Capo handle... above or below the neck?

Not every capo has a "handle!." I'm assuming you have a Kyser or equivalent capo, which is a fine capo although I prefer Shubb capos!.

The handle normally goes up so you can effect a quick change between songs!. The only time you would put the handle down is to capo the first 5 strings at the second fret for easy Drop-D tuning (in the key of E)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
