1) When I was very little I saw "Pantin' at the Opera" on a episode of Wishbone!. I felt so bad for Erik, and then I heard the music from the show!. I froze on the spot, I had never heard anything so beautiful!.!.!.it's all history from there!
2) I really like the original silent film with Lon Chaney!. I also like the Tv Mini-series with Charlies Dance and Teri Polo!.
3) Don't really have a least favorite!. I actually LIKED the animated cartoon because it was so true to Leroux!.!.yes it was silly and so poorly animated!.!.!.but it made me cry ;-)
4) I LOVE LOVE LOVE Susan Kay's Phantom and of course, Gaston Leroux's original!. I have tons of re-writes and stuff, but those are my favorites!.

12) I think Christine truly loved Erik in her own way!.!.!.it was a forbidden love and I believe she was truly confused by her feelings for her!. She was afraid of him and repulsed by him and yet she was very attracted to him, sexually and spiritually!.!.!.IMO, the First kiss was of pity, the second kiss was because she loved him and had to show him his face didn't bother her anymore!.!.!.that the reason she couldn't stay wasn't because he was ugly!.
13) In a way, I think she did!. Christine made the safest choice for her, at least so she thought!. Raoul wasn't dangerous and mysterious like Erik, he had a normal face aand they could live a normal life together!. But she destroyed Erik!.!.!.he was just a poor mistreated human who only wanted to be loved!. What Christine ddid to him was teerrible, and she hurt herself in a way by hurting him!. I think they were very similar and very much a part of one another!.!.!.It is so tragic how much he wanted her to stay, and yet he loved her enough to let her go with Raoul!.!.!.that is what makes the story so tragic, though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

12!. I think that she loved him to an extent, but she ultimately did it because she didn't want Raoul to die and she DID love and pity the Phantom!.

1) The book was recommended based on my selections on amazon!.com!. I read it, thought it was amazing, and since I love musicals decided to check it out!.
2) The 1925 silent one!. It's brilliant!.
3) The 1998 animated version!. It's the worst movie I have *ever* seen!. It's just bad, bad, bad!.!.!.I don't want to think about it!
4) The original!. Yeah, I know it's not "based" on one because it is the one, but more on that in # 5
5) I don't have a least favourite because I've only read the original!. I like having my own personal back story and what happened "in between" and after!.

12) Well, I have different views depending on my mood!. x] She wanted to free Raoul, and kissing Erik would be the easiest way to accomplish that!. Then, maybe she realized that Erik isn't *that* bad!. He just needs some love!.
