Depends how much you want to spend!. Yamaha makes good cheap steel-string acoustics!.

But a little more expensive would be Martin, Ovation!. My favorite brand for steel-string acoustics is Takamine!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you're still a beginner, you can get a fairly nice acoustic for under 400$ if you go with a fender or (if you're in Canada) an Art & Lutherie!. Ibanez also makes some decent acoustics for good prices (an added bonus is that most Ibanez guitars come with a pickup & electronics - very useful!) If you wanted to get into the higher end guitars, you could go with a takamine (what I have and love) or an ovation, probably around 300-800$!. then if you're really serious go for a Taylor, Martin, L'arrivée or Stonebridge, but any of those will set you back at least 1000$Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you want a really good acoustic guitar, consider Froggy Bottom, Santa Cruz, Goodall, and Collings!. They are all head and shoulders above all of the Martins and Taylors except possibly their most expensive models!. Taylor now has a series called "R!. Taylor" that are supposed to be excellent!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Either Martin or Taylor is the way to go!. The Martin D-28 is the paradigm, "All Time", Dreadnought style acoustic!. Very full and rich sounding!. High end Taylors have the same look, but are more "plucky" sounding, tactile, a little less bass, a lot more treble!. It just depends on which one suits your ear!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

andrew white guitars, the best, but expensive really!.!.!.i recommend Hofner, Takamine, or Ovation, that depends on the player, you, the fingerboard with, the sound, and esp the price!. keep on playing! :DWww@QuestionHome@Com

Martin, Taylor, Ovation, Gibson (and Epiphone), Fender ( and Squier), and i think Yamaha

these are just some!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you should try Guild guitars - it is a sub-brand of Fender, Martin and Taylor also good brands, If you are short on cash Takamine has great guitars with cheap optionsWww@QuestionHome@Com
