Question: My grandson has been playing clarinet for 2 years and I would like to buy him a new one!.!?

They are both good instruments, but I would go with the Buffet!. Buffet make better professional models, and if your grandson got to the level where he wanted to upgrade again to a professional model, then he would find the transition easier if he was already used to a Buffet!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Since I play clarinet by self, I would prefeer a Yamaha clarinet!. But if I were you I would get a Lenbac clairnets (also known as Vito)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would go with the Buffet B-12, but I would also keep in mind other brands when he gets more advanced!. Most professional players perfer the Buffet brand!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
