If you have all the other scales down, simply play an F# major scale and learn the enharmonic tones for it!. They are virtually the same scale!

>If you can play a closed F scale, (all notes fingered, no open notes) simply move your whole left hand up one half step and play the same exact scale!

>Gb - Ab - Bb - Cb(B natural) - Db - Eb - F - Gb
>F# - G# - A# - B - C# - D# - E#(F natural) F#

Put your first finger down on F# off of the D string
Play the following Hand positions
Second position D string 1 - 2 - 34 (First, second and third fingers spread apart, Third and fourth fingers together)
Second Position A string 1 - 2 - 34
Second Position E String 1 - 23 - 4 Shift
Shift up to E Flat (8th position Down or 11th position chromatic)
E flat - F - G flat or 1 - 23

This is a fairly common closed finger scale and you can play the F major Scale, E Major Scale, and E flat major scale in exactly the same way with only a slight shift of the right hand, once you learn the positions

If there is a dash between the fingers, you spread the fingers!. If the numbers are together, the fingers are placed together (touching in most cases)

Hope this helps!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Gb = F#

So:

Gb Ab Bb Cb Db Eb F Gb

or

F# G# A# B C# D# E# F#

Either way you look at it, its a b*tch of a scale to play :-(Www@QuestionHome@Com

wait do u mean gb or g plat!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
