Katie_hottie gave a good description!.!.

There's latin, jazz, rock, blues, tango, rhythm etc!.!.!.!. no matter how you break it down musically, these are three basic rhythm!.

Now as for time signature, 3/4 4/4 5/4 6/4 7/8, 9/8 12/8Www@QuestionHome@Com

3/4 signature you mean!?!?
Then also minuets, scherzi, some country ballads, but even a rock song can be in a 3/4 beat (it's unusual though!.!.!.!.Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds has 3/4 verses, and I once wrote a riff in 3/4 lol)!.
Then I remember a polish dance called mazurka (see Chopin, he had some excellent mazurkas)!.
You can apply 3/4 metre to any genre if you know how to do it though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

For one, latin & jamaican rhythm; tango; mambo; samba; then we have 6/4, 5/4, 4/4

Hope that helps!.!.!.!.LibraWww@QuestionHome@Com
