Question: My trumpet is filthy!. how do i clean it out really well!?

taking it to a store to get it professionally cleaned is too expensive!. and i wouldn't get it back for days or weeks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

First line a bath tub with an old towel!.
Then, tear your trumpet apart and set the big parts in the tub!.
Fill the tub 1/3 full of luke warm water!.
Use 3 caps full of dish detergant or until it bubbles!.
Let the trumpet soak and then move the trumpet (main part) around and run water through it to get the grime out!.
The smaller parts need special attention though!. For them you should put the bath on low and rinse each part individually!. You can soak them, but it is pointless and can result in something going down the drain!!!

If your trumpet doesn't come apart, soak it in the water and then run it under the luke warm water for a little while!.

RINSE AFTERWARDS!!!
