Question: How many frets should be on your guitar!?
Im a beginner, about to buy my own guitar, and when i look at the discriptions, i see 21 fret jumbo, 22 fret, 24 fret, ect!. I dont want to buy one of those mini guitars for kids, so i was wondering how many frets should be on a standard sized guitarWww@QuestionHome@Com

19-24 frets is about average, but fret count is NOT going to tell you whether a guitar is classified as "mini" or not!. Most ads for mini-guitars make it plain that it is a "3/4 size" or "mini-guitar!." This reduction in size affects the instrument as a whole, not necessarily just the fingerboard!. SOME minis have full-size necks, and others are simply smaller!. They still have a standard fret count!.

I wouldn't knock these "mini" guitars either!. I own several and they are not only REALLY fun to play with, you take 'em with you wherever you go!. They're great for practicing in a car, and cheap enough that you can leave them there because they're easily replaced!.

a standard guitar has usually 21 or 22
but it all depends on what type of music you want to play
if you want a slower bluesy kinda sound get one with 21 or 22, like the fender squire or something like that
if you want to play more hardrock metal songs or for doing big guitar solos, then go for a 24
my first guitar had 24 frets and i never had any problems with it
hope i helped, good luck, and HAVE FUN!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
