First, distortion on an acoustic is useless compared to an electric guitar!.
Distortion makes the response faste ron the fingerboard and adds a dimention of heavy metal sound!. Any effects such as finter-tapping, pull offs!. respond better but the sound is fuzzy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it depends on which guitar!.
