Question: My beggining band book says!.!.!.!?

!.!.!.that for the euphonium, the fingerings for E# is open but the fingering for Fb is 2, how can this be!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Fb is actually E and E# is actually F, it could just be written differently

look on a piano keyboard and find F, go down half a step, its E, which is Fb, and the same goes for E!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

E# is the same as F
Fb is the same as E

The two notes are a half step apart!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
