i am a 14 year old boy that can sing tenor/alto!. i need a very good, UPBEAT audition song for a big theatre company!. I can sing very well and i really want to blow there socks off!. So if u have any suggestions (song wise) id love to hear them!. THANKS =]]Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hmm, how is your musicality!? How much time do you have!?

In this situation it is best to sing what you feel comfortable with!. Is it an audition for a particular show; if so, what style is the show!? What works do the company produce!?

If you can sing Tenor comfortably, which I imagine you can at your age, choose an audition piece that shows your vocal range, use of dynamic (volume, projection, feeling) and acting ability!.

Some ideas I can shoot your way are:

Something's coming from 'Westside Story'

The Kite from 'You're a Good man, Charlie Brown' (FAVOURITE)

Or just about any standard from a Cole Porter musical or the such!. Again, it depends upon the style of the shows the company produce!.
