Why do you want easy!?!?!?!? Dude I play guitar, an once your good at it it's really fun!. I think your just being a bit lazy cause you don't want to learn something thats gonna take you years!. But if you want something that your not going to get bored with and is about medium difficulty, I'd say the 4 string bass!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Recorder!. The flute is very similar to that also if you want something abit fancy!. Brass and woodwind instruments are considered much easier than string!. I personally play the violin and flute, it took me about a week to teach myself the flute and about 3 years to get a decent sound out of the violin but it was much more impressive!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A jew's harp!.!.!. you don't have to learn ANYTHING to play it!. But, if you want to play ANY real instrument, then you have to admit you don't know something and open your mind up to LEARNING something and making an effort to do something you will be able to enjoy for a lifetime

I play guitar and keyboard and enjoy them both!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I guess the easiest would be the harmonica!. All you have to do is blow and move your mouth over it!.

The person above me said that guitar is best and I agree!. With a bit of practice you can nail the simpler chords and it's easy to modify a lot of songs!. Go with guitar - you can take it anywhere and everyone loves singing along to it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i kinda agree with gemima
recorder is easier to play than the most of the other inst!. i suppose!.!.!.:/
if you're looking for an instrument to play in a band!.!.!.maybe try the clarinet :)
don't try the string instruments (violin, cello etc) if you're looking for an easy instrument!.!.

good luck!

p!.s!. why not challenge yourself though!?:( by choosing something that's not like!.!.super hard let's say!.!. but something moderately hard!?:/Www@QuestionHome@Com

An ocarina!. It's small and fits into your palm so you can carry it wherever you go!. And altough it has limited chords!. You can have fun with the different fingering to explore the various sounds it'll make!.

No music skills needed, you just gotta be game to give it a shot!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Indian Flute is also very easy!. (American Indian, that is), but it's very limited, because there aren't many notes on the instrument!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i would recomend the piano!. because you dont have to learn fingering patterns or anything like that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
