I would say the second is a bit more important!. You don't need excellent skill, but you need a good skill at least!. Take Eric Clapton or Angus Young!.!.!.!.they're really great guitarists but they don't have that excellent skill!. On the other hand, guitarists like Kirk Hammett have that skill, but lack the feeling and the ideas!. They're useless!. MAAANY guitarists are just machines who play random scales but don't know what they're doing and sound crappy therefore!. So I go for the second!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
