Question: I want to switch from playing the flute to playing the saxophone!?

I'm getting ready to go to high school but i don't know if i could make the band since i would be playing the saxophoneWww@QuestionHome@Com

The good thing is that the fingering is nearly identical!. Lots of professionals play flute and sax!. It happens in Broadway pits all the time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would make sure to talk with your band director to see if they would want to have you switch!. And if you do get to switch find someone to give you private lessons!. Then finally are you dedicated to daily practice!? The more you do the easier it would be!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yeah!.!.!. i switched from clarinet to xylephone to flute to sax!.!.!. and now he just lets me play whatever i feel like at the time!.!.!. ask him if you can play both and work to get betterWww@QuestionHome@Com
