Question: How do I fix my Saxophone!?!?!?
When I play D with the octave key It just comes out as a loud squeak or a really ihgh note that isn't right!. I tried fixing the octave thing on the neck but it won't help!. Anyone know what to do!?!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Finally, a question i can relate too! Mine use to do that aswell!. Its the pad on it!. Usually if you smoke, chew gum or have anything sugary before you play, it forms a sticky layer over the pad which will stop it from sealing properly!. also, it could be something as simple as a loose spring!. Easiest thing to do is take to a music shop!. If its a spring problem, they usually fix it on the spot and dont charge it for you!. If its a pad problem, they'll take it in for a service and replace all of them for you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

might be a bad pad, or broken spring- take it to your band teacher and ask him if he can fix it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it could be anything have looked at all the srews are they normal!. or it could be the pads i'm always having trouble with them!. best thing to do is to take it to your music teacher (sax teacher would be best) or put it in for a service!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
