Question: A quick questions about guitars!.!.!.!?

i want to start playing the guitar!. my aunt has an electric one and an acoustic one she is willing to lend me both, but it depends which one i want to take up!. which is easier!? if i start with one can i pick the other one up quick!? (i kinda want to play acoustic but my aunt said electric is easier to start)!. and my mom can't afford to pay for lessons right now, so is it weird to learn on my own!? like could i learn from a book!? thanks in advance!. =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well neither one is easy!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.I would suggest that you get a book and teach yourself!. I have played since I was 12 and took lessons for two years with little improvement!. As soon as my playing ability skyrocketed!. Most of the musicians who taught themselves seem to be better than taught players (My opinion only)!. The acoustic guitar has higher action which will make your fingers hurt when you first start!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i would personally say start with the acoustic!.!.!.!. if you play this first it will teach you to apply more pressure to the strings!. then go onto electric!. If you learn to play electric first you will not learn to apply such pressure then wont be able to ever pick up an acoustic and play it so easilyWww@QuestionHome@Com
