Start in your local community!.

Once you get known around town, bigger names ( agents) will hear of you!.

Try to find out if your high school is doing a play!.
Or if your community is organizing something!.

You could try to find Casting calls for your state by going on google and searching " Casting calls *what ever state your in*

I want to too! I hear that Yale has the best performing arts program!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

if your in high school then just start by being in theatre/drama club or just be in some school plays!. im guessing the best colleges for that would be in california or new york!. just google that and you can look at their alumni and stuff!. do a lot of theatre stuff in college, and chances are, your drama director or whatever in college would probably know some people and you could start be some theatre shows and slowly move your way up!. it would take a lot of hard work and dedication!. you would also want to have something to fall back on if that doesnt work out though, so you would have to commit to other kinds of classes also!. if you dont get the big time or whatever, then you could always teach it =]Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would start by focusing your major in Drama/ Preforming Arts!.

Do your best to take as many classes in that area--as many as you are comfortable with--and participate in extra-curricular activities like school plays or the drama club!.

Get as much experience as you can and build up a sort of resume to show you are well equipped for the world of theater!.

As for colleges--if you aren't in 11th or 12th grade--don't worry!. Through experience and teachers at your school you can find a college that best suits your needs and qualifications!.

You can also research on the web or by calling a community college for course information!.

Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
