Follow your dream of acting and singing on Broadway! It is a great dream and you can achieve it!. Read some biographies of people who have done it!. You can do it too! Take yourself seriously!. You are as good and as talented and as beautiful as anyone!. Believe in yourself and work hard!. Your dreams will come true!.

Read biographies of people who have made it and know that you'll be one of those people some day!. You'll see that very few of them went to Julliard!. The time (4 years) and money ($100,000 including tuition and expenses), hopes and energy (it's not a ticket to stardom) spent on Julliard could be put to better use!. You don't need Julliard to follow your dreams!. A few people get out of Julliard and achieve great things!. Very many more people get out of Julliard with their dreams crushed, and deep in debt, feeling like they wasted a lot of time, money, energy and emotion!.

You are an artist!. Let your light shine!.

Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

The "lust" caught my eye, but then I saw this was a cool question!. Ummmm, yeah!.!.!. that's pretty much the standard plan for getting your name in the marquee!. Make sure that whatever school you're getting your BA at has a strong musical theater program and invests in private vocal lessons!. It is amazing what one on one sessions will do to help you improve vocally and keep your chords in shape!.

I'm not sure where from here you make it on Broadway, but you have the right attitude and I'm sensing, the passion and heart for it!.

Now to answer your last questions, you are not just employed with "Broadway"!. You are employed by a show and it's production!. in negotiations with your salary, you and the shows producers will determine your availability and whether or not that will leave enough time for outside projects!. One you are done with one project, you can move on to the next!.!.!. since a Broadway show is physically, mentally, and time-wise!.!.!. very demanding!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

First of all, you need a LOT of natural talent and SECOND!.!.!. you have to AUDITION for anything in the Performing Arts and you will be auditioning against a LOT of very talented people!.

So, you need to learn and work towards that day when you can stand on the audition stage and be accepted for a slot in whatever it is you want to be accepted for!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
