I've been playing for about 4 years now!. I started when I was 14 and now I'm 18!. First of all make sure to find a guitar player to look up to and study the way they play!. Study their strumming patterns!. If do that then you'll be pretty good in 4 years, lol!. I picked Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters!. Check them out!. Look up tabs on www!.Ultimate-Guitar!.com once you've found a song you like!. Make sure you also have a tuner 'cause if you're trying to play a song and your guitar is off it wont be pleasant!. Right now I'm obsessed with Daphne Loves Derby!. Try learning some of their songs!. Look on myspace when searching for music or youtube!. I hope you take in this knowledge!. Good luck in learning guitar!. Try learning "Everlong" by Foo Fighters or "Middle Middle" Daphne Loves Derby!.

PS!. Make sure you learn the G, D, A minor and C chord!. You can easily make a song from those for chords in that order!.

The melody for Wild Thing is really easy to learn!. All it is, is chords!. also Ode to Joy is super easy!. All the notes you need to know for Ode to Joy is E, F, G, D, and C!. All of these songs are in the book called Play Guitar Today! Level 1 The Ultimate Self- Teaching Method!. It's a really good beginners book!. Good luck on learning guitar!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Learn some chords first!. You will never play guitar if you don't know at least 4 or 5 chords and can play them without thinking where your fingers should go!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
