No- it is terrible, awful and altogether unprofessional!. I absoloutely loathe artists who can't even control that aspect of their over reactive emotions!. I think it's just something artists to do gain extra attention- but what for, if they are naturally talented!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

As far as I'm concerned, people who cry while they sing are NOT professional!.!. When I played some songs at my MOTHER'S funeral I admit having some tears, but I didn't cry because THAT is not professional!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is a technique of opera!. Operatic singers can llaugh or cry while they are singing!.
It is also done in country western music!. Many CW singers seem to be crying as they sing!.!.!.!.Hank Williams was famous for having a cry in his voice!.
It depends on the genre of music!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it can be a performance 'technique', but some songs just make you cry when you sing them, its more about feeling the emotion of the song and letting that emotion guide your performanceWww@QuestionHome@Com
