help my dear people i want to learn how to play the guitar but i can't get a teache to come to my house because 1 too expensive and 2 my family won't give me a moments peace i want to learn (preferably) aloneWww@QuestionHome@Com

Many people do learn on their own!.

The best way forward is to learn something you've heard- you can do this by reading a tab (or tablature) of the piece!.

Once you've learnt how to read basic tab (there's no musical theory involved- it's just following the numbered strings and frets) you can google, for example, "wonderwall tab oasis" and it will come up with how to play it!.

Of course, if you can, get a friend to teach you a few basic picking techniques and such!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hi have you thought about finding a small beginners class!. It would be cheaper and you can get a book that teaches you about the different notes in that way you would be familiar with cords!. Then you can find a quiet place probably at the park or some where nice and quiet to practice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

ive only been playing a little while!.!.!.!.!.
but i taught myself and im pretty good so far!.
just find out what all the chords are and look up on lets say 911tabs!.com for the chords and well you get it!.!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you are just starting out, the LEARN TO READ MUSIC!.!. it's just as easy to learn how to read real music as it is to learn TABs and you can always pick up a piece of piano music and play it, which is something the TAB only people can't do!.

You need a teacher if you REALLY want to learn!. These sites that offer FREE lessons online are worth less than what you pay for them!.

If your family won't leave you alone!.!.!. then GO SOMEPLACE ELSE where you can practice!. You have enough problems just starting out without being kibbitzed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
