Question: What do you expect going into an acting school audition!?

im trying out for john robert powers acting school
i am 15 and the tryout is on saturday
what should i expect!?

I would definitely recommend having at least 1 audition piece memorized and rehearsed!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.The industry standard for auditions is usually 2 separate, contrasting monologues (like a comedic one AND a dramatic one)!. This allows you to show off your range as an actor to whoever is conducting the auditions!.

In rare cases, the director won't even want you to perform a memorized monologue, but have you play improv games instead to get an idea of how well you can think on your toes, but it's always looks better to be over-prepared than under!. At your age, having 2 contrasting monologues prepared and ready to go will almost surely make you look a lot more professional than anyone else auditioning!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Have a lot of ￡￡￡ ready, cause sooner than later you'll be parting with your dough and be receiving very little in return, all these modelling and talent outfits are interested in is you money, because that's how they make theirs!.! Actors are born with natural ability!.!.!.!.they shouldn't need to be taught!. They either got what it takes or they don't!. I should know, I'm a Film Director!.

yes and have more than one because i just did an audition and they said they see talent in me but they want a differnet skit so you need to have more than one just in case of anythingWww@QuestionHome@Com
