Well, I don't play much piano anymore!. Albeit only about 2 hours a week!. But I love it!. Its gorgeous!. I listen to piano music all the time!. I'm actually a cellist!. Normally I practice about 4 (240 minutes!?) hours a day, but I hurt my hands so I've only been doing 1!.5 hours a day for the past week!. I also sing, play guitar, bass guitar, and steel drums!.

I practice anhour a day and also play guitar professionally!. I love romantic music on piano but prefer latin jazz on the guitar!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

For me it depends on how much Im working!. If its the busy season and Im working alot, I seldom play at home unless Im learning a new song!. But in the slow season im at the piano at home alot!. I enjoy it very much, and I also sing, play guitar, oboe, and blues harmonica!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Although I don't get the chance to play the piano daily, due to my work schedule!. I would say on average I play approximately 3-4 hours a week, not long enough at all!. I have always played the piano just for fun!. I must say that developed a much greater appreciation for playing the piano during my teen years because I found music that touched my spirit!. One of them being a piece that I discovered during a music appreciate course that I took in college!. I enjoy playing the piano, but find that I play best when I am angry!. Overall, playing the piano is relaxing!. My only wish is that I knew someone else who played so that I can play some duets!. Along with playing the piano I play the viola, which I have!. I can also play the violin and cello, but I don't own either of those instruments!. I would really love to learn to play the harp and the oboe!. As for singing!. I love to sing, I can carry a tune, but no one has ever told me that I can sing so most likely I'm not great!. Lately, I've been singing a lot of Broadway show tunes in my car while driving to work imagining that I am auditioning for an upcoming production!. LOLWww@QuestionHome@Com

On an average, maybe a half hour or an hour!. If I am learning something particular for a reason, up to two or three hours!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i quit piano about a year ago after 7 yrs!. i decided that joining a band would be so much more fun and it is! i play the alto sax! i like singing, but im too shy to do it in public!. =(Www@QuestionHome@Com

I practice about 2 hours a day!.
I also play violin and I practice it about the same sometimes alot more!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I play piano for about 30-45 minutes per day!. I also play the flute and practice that for about 1 hour to 1 and a half hours!. I play piano for fun and because it helps my theory skills on flute!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I just started but I practice 3 hrs a day I have also Played the Clarinet for 7yrs and I have been singing for 13 yrs!. I love Music it is my passion all of my work revolves around music, I cant live without it!. When I am writing a new piece I want people to understand my feelings through my music!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

As a professional vocal director and teacher, I often have to play 3 to 4 hours a day - but it is not continuous!. I was the staff accompanist for a choral festival this past wekk - did about 8 hours in one day!. Ice and ibuprofen !. !. !.Www@QuestionHome@Com

On average, I practice at least 4 hours a day (sometimes more depending on the performances/concerts I have coming up)!. While I do play some guitar, and sing--the piano is my main instrument!. Being a classical pianist, I felt I was really limiting myself by only focusing on one particular area of music--classical!. I've started teaching myself how to play Blues and Gospel music, and not only has it made my long practice time more enjoyable (by allowing me to take my mind off of classical repertoire) it's also allowed me to meet people and make friends that could potentially help me with my career as a musician! I think it's really important for all musicians to open up their minds to different forms of music and different imstruments!. You never know where you could catch your big break!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hours of playing!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. depends on what I'm working on!. In the spring time, I play a lot, because I accompany for a lot of concerts and competitions!. Anywhere from 2 hrs to 6 hrs in a day!. If I'm not actually "working" on anything, I'll usually at least do 30 minutes of scales and exercises!. Then, will play "for fun" however much my schedule allows!.

Why do I enjoy it!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. it's relaxing, it's challenging, it's a way of expressing emotions, sometimes it's physically invigorating

I also sing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I book 3h practice sessions everyday (excluding Sundays - that's my rest day) in conservatory!. Sometimes I extend it to 4h+ if I need to learn new repertoire!. I don't know why I enjoy playing it, but I've been playing since I can remember (mom tells me I asked her for piano lessons at 2 years old)!. I think the piano probably just spoke to me when I first heard its sound and watched my mom teach students at home!. I find that, when I play pieces that are 'my type of music', I get so much joy from it!.

I also play violin, viola, harp and sing!. Out of these, I love harp and singing most, even though I'm the 'newest' to them (in terms of how long I've been learning)!. I just gave a solo performance of a Russian art song, and apparently made my teacher's Russian friend cry!. My teacher told me that she (her friend) understood what I was singing (even though I've no idea how clear or accurate my diction was)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
