Question: Does anyone here like opera!?

Why or why not!? I'm not talking about "Phantom" either (although I love that too) Am I the only person who likes opera these days!? I love it, it's so beautiful & many of them are entertaining!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love opera!. I didn't come from a family where classical music was part of every day life, but became interested in it due to a gift of Handel's "Messiah" to my parents when I was a kid!. When I was a teenager, I heard some of Wagner's music as part of a movie soundtrack, and was transfixed by it!. Ever since then my love of opera has grown!. To me, the combination of music, poetry, drama, costume, set design, etc!. makes more potent statement than any one of them alone!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
